1. Our Services
Martin & Sorbo provides procurement analysis, invoice auditing, cost recovery, and vendor compliance services. Our goal is to help organizations identify billing errors and optimize procurement efficiency.
2. Who We Work With
We work with businesses and organizations that authorize access to their financial and procurement data. By engaging our services, you confirm that you’re authorized to represent your organization.
3. What We Expect From You
To deliver accurate results, we ask that you:
Provide relevant invoices, contracts, and vendor data in a timely manner
Respond to requests and questions from our audit team
Inform us of any significant operational changes
4. Confidentiality
We take your privacy and data security seriously. All information you share with us is treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your permission, unless required by law.
5. Fees
Our fee structure is customized for each engagement and may be based on:
A percentage of recovered funds
A flat project rate
Hourly consulting fees
Transactional fees
Payment terms are outlined in our engagement agreement.
6. Currency Exchange Methodology
Payment Currency
All amounts payable to us must be paid in the currency specified on the invoice we issue.
Currency Conversion
If the invoiced amount is converted from another currency (or currencies), we will convert those sums as follows:
Applicable Exchange Rate: We will use the prevailing exchange rate from the day immediately prior to the invoice date. For example, if the invoice is issued on a Monday, we will use the exchange rate from the preceding Friday.
Conversion Adjustment: At our discretion, we will apply a 2% adjustment to the converted amount.
Benchmark Exchange Rates
The conversion rates we use are sourced from third-party providers, Open Exchange Rates (OXR). By agreeing to these terms, you waive any right to dispute the benchmark rates used in calculating the invoice amount.
7. No Guaranteed Results
While we strive for high-quality insights and recoveries, outcomes depend on the data and scope provided. We do not guarantee specific financial results.
8. Intellectual Property
All reports, tools, and materials we produce remain the property of Martin & Sorbo. You’re welcome to use them internally, but please don’t share or distribute them without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Martin & Sorbo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us for services in the past 12 months.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zurich, Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or related to our services will be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we do, we’ll post the changes here. Your continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
